  • Management Graduate

    Allied Beef are seeking a motivated and dynamic Management Graduate to join our Livestock Division.


    This role will encompass a hands-on approach across all aspects of the business with a pathway into a senior position in the company for the right person. 


    The ideal applicant will have strong passion for the rural industry with strong communication and leadership skills. Further, the applicant will have a desire to grow their own experience while assisting in improving the operations through timely decision making, problem solving and with a focus on detail and outcomes. 


    Specific

    • Draft cattle in accordance with market specifications
    • Regular communication with clients and customers
    • Computer and Database Management
    • Record keeping (Livestock, Commodities etc)
    • Develop understanding of Lot Feeding and processes
    • Develop understanding of Livestock Health and Welfare
    • Assisting in farming activities
    • Purchasing cattle
    • Travel
    • Role will evolve as company expands.

  • Livestock Area Manager

    Allied Beef are looking for enthusiastic, motivated, results-driven self-starters to be Area Managers across Queensland and New South Wales. 


    You will be responsible for building a portfolio of clients in your area, so previous experience in the sales, marketing and production of cattle is paramount.


    Our area managers have great support from the Allied Beef head office in Toowoomba, but you do need to be proactive in creating and identifying opportunities in your region. Self-motivation, honesty, integrity and professionalism are all required to be successful in this position. Furthermore, it is important to understand your client’s needs. Clients need to be able to discuss their concerns and future plans with you, so you can achieve these goals together.


    Specific: 

    • Marketing of cattle
    • Negotiating of selling skills
    • Ability to work independently
    • Capability to develop client network in region
    • Draft cattle in accordance with market specifications
    • Regular communication with clients and customers
    • Inspect cattle on properties (in conjunction with property partners)
    • Computer and Database Management
    • Record keeping
    • Develop understanding of Livestock Health and Welfare
    • Assisting in general lot feeding operations
    • Purchasing cattle

    We are interested in talking with enthusiastic livestock or feeding team members who have a passion for lot feeding. 


    We offer ongoing training and other benefits such as competitive remuneration, single air-conditioned accommodation and the opportunity to further skills in all aspects of the beef industry within Allied Beef.
